NFL DFS GPP Plays For Week 6: Germie Bernard, Mark Andrews & More
Jason Cohen highlights his favorite NFL DFS GPP plays for the Week Sunday main slate.
Week 6 of the NFL season is here. There are 10 games for us to break down for this Sunday's NFL DFS main slate on DraftKings and FanDuel. I'm going to break down the NFL DFS GPP plays that I like on this slate.
This could be a QB and receiver stack that I like, a sneaky RB in a good spot, or a standalone WR/TE. The goal here is to find players who project to be under 10% owned. Getting different with these players allows you to get to safer and higher-owned pieces across the rest of your lineup. Let's dive into it!
DraftKings and FanDuel NFL DFS GPP Plays For Week 6
Mark Andrews - BAL TE ($4,200 DraftKings, $5,200 FanDuel)
To start GPP plays, Mark Andrews is someone that I love getting to at low ownership. We all saw the last game, primetime vs. the Falcons; Andrews dropped some key passes which could have cost them the game. Andrews has been very involved, though, with 5+ targets in each game thus far this season. I think a lot of people are just becoming frustrated with Andrews, but I still like taking shots on him. All he needs to do is find the end zone to smash, as his floor in the receiving game is always there. I like getting to him here at sub-5% ownership.
Deshaun Watson - CLE QB ($4,900 DraftKings, $7,400 FanDuel) / Denzel Boston - CLE WR ($5,500 DraftKings, $5,900 FanDuel)
On the other side of the Ravens game, I like this Cleveland Browns stack. KC Concepcion is out, which opens up more opportunities for Denzel Boston. Boston is on the field at almost all times and is given many deep shot opportunities. He has been getting targeted a ton, but it has not translated to many catches. His long play and touchdown upside have kept his fantasy scores great, and I like his upside here as the WR1 in what should be a from-behind game script. He’s projecting for 10% ownership as of now, which makes me still like the stack in GPPs. Definitely not too high.
Germie Bernard - PIT WR ($4,000 DraftKings, $5,100 FanDuel)
With the Steelers dealing with injuries at the WR position, Germie Bernard looks to be coming into this week with a very key role. He was targeted 9 times in Week 5, and it is obvious that Aaron Rodgers likes what he's seeing with him out there. He has kind of taken over the Roman Wilson role, who Aaron Rodgers was getting a ton of targets to. Many of these targets are downfield, too, when coverage breaks down. Bernard holds a ton of upside here, and is super cheap. I'm surprised ownership is not there on him. He has a chance to absolutely smash here
Daniel Jones - IND QB ($5,200 DraftKings, $6,500 FanDuel), Keenan Allen - IND WR ($4,300 DraftKings, $5,800 FanDuel)
The Colts get a great matchup vs. the Titans this week, and I like looking at a stack here. Daniel Jones has been very underwhelming so far this season, just not being able to figure it out in the passing game. The Colts, which at this point is not variance, see much of their touchdowns come from the run game, mainly Jonathan Taylor. It's only a matter of time until Daniel Jones has that 2+ TD game; however, I like Keenan Allen to be a beneficiary of that. Keenan had a slow start to the season, but has found his groove over the last two weeks. Jones has been targeting him a ton, and I feel that he is too cheap here. I love this spot in GPPs.
Week 6 has a ton of spots that I like here for GPPs. With value not being as clear-cut as it has been, the builds are looking to be a little more balanced this week. This spreads out ownership and allows us to find some great low-owned options with high ceilings. This looks like an amazing GPP slate with some uncomfortable spots, which will hopefully reward those people who take some chances in spots with high upside. Good luck, and let's cash some tournaments this Sunday!
